VENDOR PARTICIPATION DOWN, ATTENDANCE GOOD AT 30TH ANNUAL ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR

(CAMERON)  The 30th annual Cameron Arts & Crafts Fair is in the books. Although vendor participation was down this year,  organizers were pleased with the turnout.  Chamber Director Earline Cloudt said 114 vendors participated, down from 138 last year.  She said events such as First Saturday Trade Days in Rockdale, and a new Crafts Fair in Copperas Cove may have affected the number of vendors this year, however she was pleased with the crowd as hundreds enjoyed the cool autumn temperatures while browsing and shopping.

  A. T. Shuffield and Julie Smith provided entertainment with Country and Gospel music. The Chamber booth offered information to park visitors, as well as souvenirs and tickets to upcoming attractions
