2003 Christmas Parade Kicks Off Holiday Season in Cameron

 

 (CAMERON)  The Cameron Chamber of Commerce kicked off the 2003 Christmas Season Saturday night with the annual Christmas parade and activities downtown on the square.  More than 50 entries made up the parade.

Winners in the vehicle division went to the Cameron Candy Kitchen, who took 1st place honors, followed by the Milam County Museum in 2nd and a 1931 Model A Ford from Larry Kudlacek from Cedar Park.

In the Band division; the Temple Heart of Texas twirlers took 1st while the Yoe High Band took 2nd.

In the Float Division; Abiding Savior Lutheran Church took 1st, while St. Monica's Catholic Church was 2nd, and 3rd place went to SDD Entertainment and Cameron Towing.

And under the Division of "Other"; 1st place went to Po Poppa's Wagon Train from Gene Mitchan, 2nd place went to Cameron Country Inn, Rosalind Brinkley and 3rd place went to Nanna Clause and her Grand Elves, Betty French, with Matt and Maddy Humble.
