YOE HIGH ATHLETES HONORED WITH ANNUAL BANQUET FOR FALL SPORTS

(CAMERON)  Some 300 crowded into the Cameron VFW Hall for the annual Fall Sports Banquet, sponsored by the Yoe Athletic Booster Club, who took time Saturday to honor Yoe High School Athletes in Cross Country, Volleyball and Football and Yoe High Cheerleaders.

Also during the annual banquet, the Booster club took time to honor and recognize Sam and Misty Berry of Circle S BBQ in Cameron, along with Head Volleyball Coach, Linda Richter, who has coached in Cameron since 1975, and who picked up her 500th career victory during the 2002 Volleyball season.

Team voted MVP's were also announced, as Nikki Lavan was chosen as the football sweetheart for 2002.  In Volleyball, Tara Tucker was voted by her teammates as the team's MVP.

Cross Country MVP awards went to Gerardo Moreno on the boy's team and the girl's MVP, went to Meredith Murray.  And in football, Billy Pittman was the team's MVP.

Also part of the evening was the annual highlight video, featuring Cross Country, Volleyball and football highlights, produced by Timeless Impressions.
