(CAMERON) A Brazoria County man, missing since April 6th, is now wanted on several warrants according to the Milam County Sheriff’s Department. Sheriff Charlie West said that his department is still seeking the whereabouts of Carl Raymond Price Jr. who has not been seen or been in contact with his family since March 3, 2005. (See story) Price’s abandoned vehicle was recovered on April 6 by Milam County deputies. The last known contact with Price was on April 2 by Game Warden Mike Mitchell. On Thursday, April 21 Deputy Greg Kouba and Chief Deputy Ted Retchloff, along with Killeen Police Officer John Moseley searched the river with a cadaver dog. The dog is specially trained to detect dead bodies in the water and on land. The search ended with no results. The search was aided by Rockdale firemen Greg Strelsky, Dude Matous and Clayton Evans. Investigator Greg Kouba and deputies with the United States Marshal's Fugitive Task force have learned that Price is wanted on several warrants for probation violations in Oklahoma, charges that would likely send him back to prison. If anyone has any information on Price, or know his whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Crime Stoppers anonymous tips line at 1-888-697-TIPS. If information leads to his arrest, you could earn a cash reward. Further, Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward for information on the theft of the five Jeep wheels which were taken off Price's vehicle under the FM 487 bridge of the San Gabriel river. Sheriff West said that his department is not sure whether Price is alive or otherwise, especially since these warrants were discovered out of Oklahoma. |
