ACCIDENT KILLS TWO


(MAYSFIELD) Two people were killed in a 1-vehicle accident Monday afternoon on FM 485 at Walkers Creek. Pronounced dead at the scene was 31 year old Jenni Tena and 28 year old Aaron Aguillon both living on CR 265 in the Maysfield/Branchville area. According to DPS reports, the vehicle driven by Tena, was westbound on 485 when it veered off the right side of the road and struck a guard rail. The vehicle slid on top of the guard rail, then rolled off and landed upside down in Walkers Creek. The accident happened around 4:35 p.m. Justice of the Peace O. C. Chip Dunsmoor pronounced both victims dead at 5:36 p.m. Cameron Fire Rescue and American Medical Response were called to the scene. Trooper David Yarbrough investigated.
Tena and Aguillon are the 4th and 5th traffic fatalities on Milam County roads this year.
