Hot Cheese Toast


1 small chopped green onion

1/4 cup Monterrey Jack Cheese, grated
1/8 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
4 slices French bread, 1.5" thick
1/4 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated
1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
3/4 Teaspoon dry Parsley
1 tablespoon Parmesan Cheese, grated



In a medium size mixing bowl combine onion, both cheeses, mayonnaise, a dash of red pepper and parsley until well blended. Spread the cheese mixture on one side of each slice of bread. Sprinkle the Parmesan Cheese on top. Place face up on an ungreased baking sheet or on the oven rack of a toaster oven. Broil until the cheeses melt and bubble. Serve hot.

Excellent compliment to Spaghetti O's from the can.
