Cheese-Garlic Grits
1 Cup Quick Grits 1/2 Cup Butter 1 Teaspoon Salt 1/2 Cup Milk 4 Cups Boiling Water 2 Eggs, slightly beaten 1-1/2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese 1 small clove garlic, minced | |
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large sauce pan, bring water to boil and add salt. Stir grits into boiling water, return to boil. Reduce heat, cook 2.5 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add cheese, butter, milk, eggs, and garlic. Stirring until cheese is melted. Pour into a greased 2 quart dish. Bake for 1 hour. |
