Hamburger-Cornbread
Casserole
1 Lb. Ground Beef 1 15 oz. can of Tomatoes 1/2 Lb. grated Cheese 2 Tbsp. Sugar 1/2 Cup Milk 1 Egg 1 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil 1/4 Tsp. Salt 1 Medium Chopped Onion 1 15 Oz. Can Ranch Style Beans 1-1/2 Cup Corn Meal 1/2 Cup Flour 2 Tsp. Baking Powder | |
Brown meat with onion. Add tomatoes and beans; simmer for 15 min. Set aside cheese. Mix remaining ingredients together to make the Cornbread mixture. Pour meat mixture into a greased casserole dish; sprinkle cheese on top, then spread cornbread mixture over all. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until Cornbread is brown on top. | |
