Cheese and Sausage

Breakfast Casserole


8 slices White bread, cut into cubes
1 Lb. pan Sausage, crumbled and cooked
1-1/2 cups grated Cheddar Cheese
2 Tbs. Green Onion, diced
10 Large Eggs
2 Cups Milk
2 Tsp. dry Mustard
1 Tsp. Salt
1/2 Tsp. Pepper
1/4 Cup finely chopped Jalapeno

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 glass baking dish. Place bread in dish, top with sausage and cheese. Beat together eggs, milk, seasoning, onions and peppers. Pour mixture over sausage and cheese. Bake for 1 hour covered. Remove cover and cook 15 mins. until center sets. Can be prepared days in advance, stored in fridge, and then baked.
