Breakfast Casserole


1/2 lb. breakfast sausage (cooked, cooled & crumbled)
1/2 dozen beaten eggs
4-6 slices of bread (buttered on both sides)
tsp. salt and pepper
1/4 cup milk
1/2 lb. grated cheese
Jalapenos if desired
Mix eggs, salt, pepper and milk together. Place bread on bottom of 8X8 pan. Spread sausage over bread slices. Pour egg mixture over sausage. Place Jalapenos if desired. Spread cheese over entire casserole. Place in refrigerator overnight. Bake casserole next morning at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until done.
