Beef and Rice

Casserole


1/2 stick butter

1 medium chopped onion
1 pound ground beef or turkey
2 beef Bouillon cubes
2 cups hot water

1 1/4 cups whole grain rice or wild or brown rice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
Melt butter in frying pan. Add onions and sauté. Add meat and brown. Dissolve cubes in water and add to meat mixture. Stir in rice. Add Worcestershire and Soy Sauce, cover and simmer on low heat 30 minutes or until rice has absorbed liquid.
