Lightening Strikes--House Destroyed

     The Clem Tomek residence was destroyed by Wednesday (May 26)  by fire believed to have started from a lightening strike.  Cameron Firefighters were toned out shortly before 10 am, and the house was fully involved when Firemen arrived.   Fire and EMS personnel were only able to ensure that the blaze did not spread.   No one was hurt in Wednesday's Fire.  The older fame home was

built in 1915.

     Heavy thunderstorms moved thru the Central Texas area Wednesday morning bringing heavy rains and dangerous lightening.  The morning shower only produced about .40 of an inch, however rains are forcasted for the rest of the week.
