CAMERON MAN HURT ON BICYCLE

(CAMERON)  A 79 year old Cameron man riding a bicycle was hurt Friday, when he pulled into the path of a late model Honda Accord on West 4th street.  Onesimo Chavez, according to Cameron Police Officer Joe Reyna was entering U.S. Highway 190 from Orchard street, when the accident happened.  Chavez was transported from the scene by Cameron Scott & White EMS to Scott and White Hospital in Temple for treatment.  The driver of Honda, 21 year old, Jared Owen Locke, of Belton was not hurt in the accident.  Cameron firemen also assisted at the scene with traffic control and clean up.  Firemen first got the call at around 12:30 Friday afternoon.
