CAMERON'S NEW MAYOR TAKES OFFICE 

(Cameron)  The Cameron City Council met Tuesday and canvassed the election returns from the May 15^th Election.  Connie Anderle was re-elected for Ward 2, Roselee Mondrik was re-elected for Ward 4, and William  “Bill” Meacham, who won the mayoral race, was sworn in as Cameron's new mayor.   Following the oaths former Mayor James E. Lafferty, who has served as councilman and mayor for a combined 18 years, officially retired his position.
