MOLINA'S BAR AND GRILL DESTROYED BY FIRE

(CAMERON)  A fire that is believed to have started in the kitchen area destroyed a local on Batte Street was destroyed when the fire spread quickly to the rest of the building.  According to Cameron Police, three callers reported seeing smoke pouring from the building.  Firemen were dispatched at 12:28 p.m. but the fire had already spread when firemen arrived. 

Three units of the Cameron Volunteer Fire Department responded along with Police officers Terry Drummond and Joe Reyna.  Scott & White EMS also stood by, but no one was reported as injured from the blaze. 

Monlina's is owned by Sylvia Molina of Cameron. 

 
 

A Piano in the restuarant was among all the contents that were destroyed by the fire.

The fire is believed to have star.ted in the kitchen, located in the rear, but quickly spread to the front of the building
