(CAMERON)  Construction is well underway on the construction project to widen US 77/190 from the intersection in Cameron to the "Y" south of the long bridge.  The first phase of the project is to construct a southbound bridge south of the existing bridge.  When that bridge is complete, the old bridge will be torn down and a new one constructed in its place.  The project also includes the widening of the highway at the railroad underpass in Cameron.  The entire project will take more than 3 years to complete.
