CHRISTMAS IN CAMERON

(CAMERON) The Cameron Chamber of Commerce was very busy on Saturday with the Cameron Christmas Tour of Homes and The Annual Lighted Christmas Parade. Approximately 100 people visited homes in Cameron during the tour.

The Christmas Parade was a huge hit with Santa ringing in the Christmas Season as he rode in on a Horse drawn Cart pulled by King Arthur from San Xavier Farm. The Toys for Kids Elves were able to fill the truck and raised $178.85 during the parade.

With 41 Entries in the Parade, the chamber recorded more floats than in the past few years. Brandy McLerran, Chamber Manager, said “The Parade was a wonderful success. The rain stayed away and allowed us to kick off the Christmas Season in Cameron."

The Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all of those involved in the Parade. From the Judges to the participants, everyone did a wonderful job. The Cameron Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Home and Business Christmas Decorating Contest. Judging will take place on Monday December 13th. If you know of a home or a business that is showing its holiday spirit contact Brandy at the Chamber office. Businesses can be entered into the contest for decorations on the inside of the building.
