2 sticks butter or oleo |

1 cup brown sugar |

1 cup sugar |

1 cup chopped pecans |

1/2 tsp. salt |

1 tsp. soda |

1/2 tsp baking powder |

2 cups of flour |

1 pkg. chocolate chips |
|
2 cups oatmeal |
|
2 eggs (well beaten) |

1 tsp. vanilla |
Cream sugars and oleo. Add eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Add nuts and chips, mix well by hand. Drop into a well greased cookie sheet 2" apart. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
