Mix flour, baking powder and spices. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then add egg and mix. Gradually add dry ingredients. Chill overnight. Roll to 1/8" thick, cut with floured cookie cutters. Bake on ungreased sheet in 350 degree oven for 10-12 mins. Use your favorite icing recipe to decorate.
