(CAMERON) Applications are now being accepted for the Christine Holcombe Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship, which memorializes former County Extension Agent Christine Holcombe, will be awarded to applicants who have completed 1 year of college and are former Milam County residents and graduated from Milam County high schools. The deadline to apply is June 30th. To get an application you must email cholcombememorial@gmail.com. More info can be found on the Chris Holcombe Facebook page. Over the past 10 years the Chris Holcombe Memorial Scholarship has awarded $122,400 in scholarships to Milam County college students. | |
