(GATESVILLE) A Coryell County man is in jail after allegedly shooting at sheriff`s deputies Saturday night.
Authorities say 40 year old David Ray Sneed started shooting at deputies parked near his home on County Road 148 near Gatesville but couldn`t pinpoint exactly where the shots came from because it was dark.
Deputies say Sneed became hostile after they attempted to serve him with an arrest warrant. He`s accused of assaulting and pointing a gun at his 14 year old daughter.
Sneed was found near his home several hours later. He`s charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault on a public servant.
