(MCGREGOR) An historic home in McGregor burned to the ground on Monday. 

Nearly a dozen fire departments all responded about 6:30PM to the historic Brown-Mann House near 6th and Jackson in McGregor. The vacant 2-story home was fully engulfed on arrival, leading McGregor Fire Department to call for the mutual aid. 

Officials said nearby homes and buildings were also being threatened and damaged due to the intense flames. There were no injuries and the fire marshal is now investigating. The Brown-Mann House was believed to have been built in the late 1890s.
