MAN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION TO UNBORN CHILD`S DEATH

A Rockdale man landed in jail this week on charges of Intoxication
Manslaughter in connection to the death of an unborn child.
Mark
Allen Talley, 56, posted bond Tuesday after his Monday arrest.
According to Rockdale Police Chief Thomas Harris, Talley was originally
arrested last October at the scene of an auto-pedestrian accident on
Mill Street in Rockdale.
Investigators determined that a woman
was walking along the street after attending the Rockdale Fair and was
pushing her twin infants in a stroller when she was struck by a pickup
truck. The woman was injured, though the twins escaped harm. Chief
Harris said Talley was arrested for Intoxication Manslaughter when
officers learned that the woman was pregnant and lost the baby as a
result of the accident.
