(CAMERON) Cameron Police are warning residents and merchants about counterfeit money making the rounds in town.
According to a press release from Cameron Police Chief Randy Dixon, authorities are investigating 2 incidents that occurred in Thorndale and Bastrop. Dixon said in both instances 3 suspects passed fake $50 bills to pay for items and services. The suspects are described as 2 black males and 1 black female. Investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a black Chrysler 300 with Texas license plate CGM4748.
