20TH DISTRICT COURT2009-11-03

(CAMERON)  A Cameron man was sent to prison late last week in 20th District Court.  25-year-old, Richard Roy Green, Jr. was sentenced to 5 years in prison after pleading true to violating conditions of his probation on an orginal charge of 2nd degree felony, burglary of a habitation.

In other cases; William Joseph Taylor, 27, of Cameron was placed on 4 years probation, and ordered to pay $2,500 after pleading guilty to a state jail felony offense of evading arrest with a motor vehicle.

--Eric Scott Carlile, 26, of Rockdale was placed on 3 years probation, with standard conditions, including substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment.  He was also ordered to pay restitution after he pled guilty to a state jail felony offense of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram.

--Richard James Munoz, 57, of Rockdale was given a probated sentence of 10 years in prison, probated for five years with standard probation conditions, including the completion of anger management classes.  Munoz was also ordered to have no contact with the victim, on a charge of injury to the elderly.
