(Austin) A new poll shows Republican Greg Abbott is leading Democrat Wendy Davis by eleven points in the race for governor. The "University of Texas/Texas Tribune Poll" has Abbott ahead of Davis 47-to-36 with 17-percent of voters still undecided. Poll co-director Jim Henson says the poll shows not much has changed with Texas politics. The other director, Daron Shaw, says Davis has had a "pretty bad couple of months," while Abbott has been having good months. An October poll showed Davis was within six points.
