(MILAM) Yesterday NWS National Weather A Service assessed the area on the storms and confirmed  4 Tornados: South of Cameron tornado was EF-0 winds to 85 mph, South of Franklin EF-0 w/ 80mph winds and  Leon Co. Expo Center EF-1  /90mph winds and  in Jewett Area EF-1 was 105mph.

(MILAM) Road  was closed  due to flooded FM 1915  South of  Yarrelton, Is Now OPEN

(ROCKDALE)  Tuesday****Due to heavy rains, a drainage area at the corner of 5th St and Pecan St was being cleared and a 6″ main was hit.   The damage took a few hours to repair,   approximately 10 residences will be placed in a Boil Water Notice (BWN). Water samples will be delivered to the lab the BWN should be lifted by Thursday evening.    Questions can be directed to City Hall (512) 446 – 2511

 

(ROCKDALE) Rockdale Police Department weekly report Officers responded to 177 calls for service 86 were 911 calls.

 

(BUCKHOLTS)   Buckholts City Counsel has called a Special meeting  beginning  at 5:30pm at the Buckholts Town Hall 113 W Main street, Buckholts.

A Regular meeting of the Buckholts City Counsel will start at 5:45pm.

There will be a Budget workshop will begin immediately following the City Counsel meeting at  the Community Center 110 W. Main Street.

(CAMERON)   San Andres Masonic Lodge 170 will host a fish fry on Saturday, May 10,  from 10:30 am until 1:00 pm in the First Methodist Church fellowship hall, 207 West Third Street in Cameron. (WESTPHALIA)

The Knights of Columbus is sponsoring a vet clinic at the Westphalia Hall Pavilion, State Highway 320,  Westphalia on Monday, May 12th .  The clinic will be from 3pm to 7pm.

Dogs, cats and other small animals can be vaccinated for rabies, parvovirus and any other ailment they may have at a nominal cost.

The vet services will be provided by Dr. Johnnie Richter, DVM at 254-760-6459.

All motorcycle types welcome.  All proceeds will be donated to the Sgt. Joshua Clouse Memorial Scholarship.
