A Rosary and a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Young’s Daughters Funeral Home & Bereavement Center in Temple, Texas. The Rosary is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM, followed by the Celebration of Life at 7:00 PM
Born on December 17, 1954, in Temple, Texas to Moises Mares Sr. and Ysabel S. Mares
She began her professional journey as a phlebotomist at a local hospital, Her most fulfilling commitment spanned 8 years with Our Lady of Maternity Shelter, as well as years of honorable military service, having enlisted and served from 1980 to 1985
Survived by beloved husband of 39 years, Edward Alderete. Married Feb 8 1986. Son, Adam Castillo of Temple, brother; Moises Mares Jr of California, 1 grand child & 2 great grand children
