Margie Ruth Guzzi, 89, of Onalaska, Tx died Friday, June 13, 2025 in a Livingston, Texas nursing facility. Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday June 18, 2025 at Oak Hill Cemetery Pavillon. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 18, 2025 at 10:00 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
Mrs. Guzzi was born on October 14, 1935 in Sugarland, Tx to Bruce Earl and Nannie Lee (Gardner) Humphrey. She was a nurse that retired after 60 years at the age of 75, having worked in the geriatrics department, Director of Nursing, Surgical and Triage Nursing. She was a strong mother and great provider for her family. She was very strong and energetic and loved the outdoors and to dance. She accepted Christ as her personal savior when she was a child. She was preceded in death by a husband Vince Guzzi and a brother Jim Humphrey. Survivors include; Sons Bruce Haynes Nacogdoches, Tx , Kenneth Haynes Cameron, Tx , Daughters Kathy West Manvel, Tx , Susie Reeves Onalaska, Tx, Brother Bill Humphrey Vernon, Tx, 7 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren
