(BUCKHOLTS) Gary Lee Talafuse, 72, of Buckholts died Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at his home. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday, June 30, 2025 at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Marak. Burial will follow in the Sts. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery in Marak. Rosary and visitation will be 5:00pm-7:00pm with rosary recited at 6:00 pm Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
Mr. Talafuse was born February 21, 1953 in Milam County to William Frederick and Verna Fay (Sommer) Talafuse. He married Carolyn Simecek on April 8, 1972. He retired from Milam County Precinct 1. He is survived by Wife Carolyn Talafuse of Buckholts, Daughters Rhonda Talafuse of Buckholts, Sherry Talafuse-Wood of Temple, Sons Robert Talafuse of Lott, Gary Talafuse II of Cameron, Sister Brenda Litton of Wallisville,
9 Grandchildren, 2 Great-grandchildren
