Death Toll rises to 110  across 6 counties from the flooding.  In Kerr County 87 deaths, including  56 adults and  30 children, 161  people still missing – Over 850 rescued. 10 children and one counselor still missing from camp mystic.

Pat Green has revealed that members of his family are among the missing in the floods.  Green’s wife, Kori Green, added that the “I Love Texas” singer’s younger brother “John Burgess , his wife, Julia, and two sons remain missing from the  Kerrville flood.

Donations also being announced, The Houston Texans, the Dallas Cowboys and the NFL are committing to assist in helping rescue, relief and recovery efforts a donation of $500,000 each make the total $1.5 million to those impacted by the flooding.  NBAMavericks, the Rockets, the Spurs, the NBPA announced that more than $2M “will be donated to flooding victims.   Rangers and Astros are also joining the “list of several in-state professional sports teams that have announced donations” . Both teams will donate $1M.  Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris and  Robert Earl Keen are donating to help Hill Country flood victims. Several celebrities with roots in Texas, and beyond, are making direct donations. Robert Earl Keen has announced plans for a benefit show to raise funds for relief.

 

(CAMERON)     The Cameron Chamber of Commerce will be open all week to collect donations for those affected by flooding. Please consider donating the following items:

Non-perishable Food  /  Water/Gatorade  /  Diapers/Pull-ups (any size/brand)  //  Wipes
Hygiene items (deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs/brushes, soap, body wash, hand sanitizer)
Blankets/Towels   Backpacks/Duffle bags  /  Storage Containers
Cleaning Supplies (mops, brooms, cleaning sprays/wipes, bleach, paper towels)
Trash Bags   /  Fans  /  Flashlights  Batteries  /  Work gloves   /Shovels/Rakes
Clothesline/Clothespins  /  Bug Spray  /  Sunscreen

(SAN SABA)  to donate to flood relief efforts in San Saba, the San Saba Church of Christ  Second and Wallace is a key donation and distribution location. They are accepting food, clothing, and bedding for victims at the Fellowship building (3rd & Wallace), open daily from 10 AM to 3 PM and 5 PM to 7 PM. Additionally, the San Saba Ministerial Alliance is also accepting financial donations via Venmo.

(CAMERON) In June 2025, the Milam County Sheriff’s Office answered 1,657 total calls. Among them:

(ROCKDALE) Rockdale Police Department weekly report Officers responded to 132 calls for service 81 were 911 calls.

 

 

(MILAM) Milam County Sheriff’s Office  jail count 144.

 

(BUCKHOLTS)    A regular meeting of the Town of Buckholts City Council will be held THURSDAY,  July 10, at 6:00 pm at Buckholts Town Hall located at 113 W. Main Street, Buckholts.
