(BOIL WATER NOTICE RECINDED!!!!)  Bell-Milam-Falls Water Supply Corporation issued a Boil Water Notice  Date: Aug 03  Boil Water Notice**** HAS BEEN RECINDED!

This only affects customers served by the Vilas Plant. FM 2268, FM 437 from FM 2268 north to the river, Wood Rd., Rosanky Rd., Vilas Rd., Link Rd. Round Hall Rd., Sypert School Rd., 2268 Spur, and Hawk Lane. Boil Water Notice for Community Public Water Systems

(BOIL WATER NOTICE)  Bell-Milam-Falls Water Supply Corporation issued a Boil Water Notice . The affected customers of this notice are along State Highway 320 from Westphalia to Lott, customers along FM 431 between Westphalia and Travis, and customers on County Roads 340, 345, 367, 368, 369, 377, 478, 479, 490, 492, and 496.

Once Boil Water Notice is rescinded a notification will be issued.  If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact Bell Milam Falls WSC at (254) 697-4016.

 

(CAMERON) Milam County Sheriffs office monthly call report, Sheriffs office answered 1361 total calls. Among them were– 26 arrest made , 157 citations issued, 409 traffic stops

(CAMERON)  Cameron ISD Bus Registration  all registrations must be submitted no later than Midnight on FRIDAY, August 8th.    Reminder that any student that intends to ride a bus this school year need to register for their Bus Pass, online at https://www.cameronisd.net/page/transportation.registration – Please allow at least 72 hours for your registration to be processed.

 

 

Schools starts THIS WEEK 🏫, Watch for Buses  🚌, School Zones and Children 🚸. and new Texas Lawsf or schools,

1. Mobile Phone Ban: What it is: A new law mandates that public school districts either ban mobile devices entirely or require students to lock them away during school hours  📴 .

2. Ten Commandments Display: What it is: Senate Bill 10 requires schools to post a specific version of the Ten Commandments in each classroom. Implementation: The display must be at least 11 by 16 inches and can be a poster or framed copy. The law goes into effect on September 1st.

3. School ChoiceWhat it is: Senate Bill 2 establishes an education savings account program, allowing participating families to use public funds for private school tuition and other education expenses. Launch: The program is slated to launch in late 2026.
