1. Mobile Phone Ban: What it is: A new law mandates that public school districts either ban mobile devices entirely or require students to lock them away during school hours 📴 .
2. Ten Commandments Display: What it is: Senate Bill 10 requires schools to post a specific version of the Ten Commandments in each classroom. Implementation: The display must be at least 11 by 16 inches and can be a poster or framed copy. The law goes into effect on September 1st.
3. School Choice: What it is: Senate Bill 2 establishes an education savings account program, allowing participating families to use public funds for private school tuition and other education expenses. Launch: The program is slated to launch in late 2026.
