(ROCKDALE) Saturday, September 20, 2025. . The Little River Basin Master Gardeners are inviting the public to join them at their butterfly garden at the Rockdale Veterans Park. The event will coincide with a ribbon-cutting by the City of Rockdale and Rockdale Rotary Club for renovations at the park, and will include activities sponsored by LRBMGA for the public to participate.
The Little River Basin Master Gardeners, celebrating 20 years in Milam County, invite the public to a Butterfly Bash in Rockdale. Come celebrate these colorful pollinators in the butterfly garden at the park. The free program will be held Saturday, September 20, 10AM – noon, at Veterans Park, 1900 Mistletoe Lane.
Lots of fun activities for all ages will be sponsored by the Master Gardeners. A ribbon-cutting ceremony by the City of Rockdale and the Rockdale Rotary Club will commemorate recent park renovations, starting at 10AM. The public is invited to attend and all are welcome.
