(ROCKDALE) The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has notified the City of Rockdale that the section of Offield Avenue (South Wilcox) at the intersection of FM 487 will be closed until further notice due to a bridge failure.

(MINERVA) Minerva Community Cemetery Association is having a Cemetery Workday on Saturday, November 15, from 9 am to 12 pm. Community members and association members (families of loved ones who are buried in the cemetery) are invited to participate in the cemetery workday. We plan to clean up the fence line, trim trees, pick up limbs, fill in holes, remove old flowers, and anything else that needs to be done. The Little River Basin Master Gardeners invite the public to a presentation on the importance of planting and maintaining oak trees and their counterparts in Milam County and the surrounding region. The Our Mighty Oaks program will be held WEDNESDAY November 19, 6-7 pm, at All Saints Episcopal Church Meeting Room, 200 North Travis, Cameron. The public is invited to attend and all are welcome.
