PRESS RELEASE For Immediate Release:
Friday, after a 5-day jury trial, a Milam County Jury found Damion Corona, 52, of Cameron, guilty of First-Degree Felony, Continuous Sexual Abuse of Young Child in Judge John W. Youngblood’s 20th District Court. The jury returned their verdict in less than one (1) hour.
Corona was taken immediately into custody to await sentencing by the Judge which is scheduled for January 12, 2026. This guilty verdict carries a minimum mandatory sentence of twenty-five (25) years’ incarceration in TDCJ.
