(ROCKDALE) TODAY 9:00 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 4:00. The Milam County Tax Office is now open in Rockdale One-Stop Center for Property Tax payments. We are still waiting for the DPS to install their equipment so we can do vehicle registrations as well.
(MILANO) THURSDAY January 8, Milano ISD Board of Trustees holding a board meeting . The Milano Independent School District Board of Trustees – Kevin Terry as the Lone Finalist for the position of Superintendent of Schools. In accordance with state law, there had to be a 21-day waiting period before the school board can officially hire Mr. Terry.

THURSDAY January 8th- The 45th Annual Central Texas Cow Calf Clinic will be held with some great food and some great educational presentations. 3 hours of CEUs will be provided for pesticide applicators. The which is being held in cooperation with AgriLife Extension offices in Bell, Burleson, Falls, Robertson and Williamson counties, will take place at the Milam County Youth Expo Building, 301 S. Houston St., Cameron. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the program starting at 8 a.m. The cost is $20, which can be paid at the door.
