(ACADEMY) Reminder Academy ISD Families Started Yesterday February 17, TxDOT plans to begin a project to construct more than one mile of 8-foot sidewalk along the north side of FM 436 (W Main Street) from Lamar Street to State Highway 95.
Because construction will occur along FM 436, families should anticipate periodic lane closures and possible delays, particularly during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times. We encourage parents to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use heightened caution when driving through work zones.
