(BARTLET)  Boil Water Notice  April 6th, 2026,

Due to reduced distribution system pressure, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the City of Bartlett public water system to notify all customers to boil their water. If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact Adrian Flores at cityadmin@bartlett-tx.us or at (254) 527-3219.

(WILLIAMSON) YESTERDAY 7:15am  There is a large law enforcement presence at the 12900 block of North Interstate Highway 35 in Jarell, Texas. at   11:54am    on 04/06/2026, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office assisted Jarrell Police Department with a reported disturbance at the 12900 block of North Interstate Highway 35 in Jarell, Texas.

Officers set up a perimeter and called for help. Williamson County Emergency Communications said the caller reported a woman had been injured inside the apartment.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team arrived and began talking with the person. The person was taken into custody after negotiations.

An 18-wheeler rollover at CR 313 and the northbound N. IH-35 frontage road also affected traffic at the time.

Officers were able to safely secure the scene and resolve the situation peacefully. No criminal charges have been filed at this time. This was an isolated incident and there is no indication of a threat to the public at this time

(HOLLAND) Yesterday at 2:29pm Holland VFD was dispatched to a fire on Round Hall Rd. Initial dispatch was there was a vehicle and garage on fire threatening other structures. Due to low man power and lack of water supply mutual aid was called in from numerous agencies. First arriving Holland unit found a large fire in progress that had already consumed the garage and all the contents and with all the surrounding structures as well, the main home was being threatened. Through the work of numerous firefighters we were able to keep the main structure from getting heavily involved though that structure did suffer extensive damage. Most importantly there where no lives lost or injuries. Holland VFD would like to thank all the agencies that were involved :

(SALADO)  BELL COUNTY, 6:50 a.m. Both lanes have been reopened. after being closed early Monday morning.

Bell County Sheriff’s deputies are assisting Salado police and fire crews responding to a semi truck fire near the 282 mile marker, authorities said. Southbound traffic in the area was reduced to one lane as emergency personnel continue to work the scene. Salado police and fire departments lead the respond, with Bell County sheriff’s deputies providing additional support and traffic assistance. Officials have not yet released any information regarding potential injuries, the cause of the fire .

(ROCKDALE)  Rockdale Police Department weekly report, Officer’s responded  492 calls for service 92 were 911 calls there were 6 calls for the fire department 3- Thorndale and 3- Rockdale Fire departments. there were 5 accidents responses to and  6 felony arrests.

(TEMPLE)  A TRAFFIC ADVISORY  through April 13th   In Temple a temporary eastbound lane closure will be in place on W Avenue H near South 21st Street- as part of ongoing wastewater line replacement associated with the Jones Park Improvements project. Do not consume any of the mentioned products to avoid risk to personal health.

We have discovered that due to improper reassembly of a creamed honey machine on 12/1/25, creamed honey products may contain stainless steel dust/flakes and/or small particles or shreds of plastic. This applies to any flavor of Walker Honey Farm 14 oz Creamed or 11 oz Whipped Honey purchased in our retail shop after 12/1/2025.

(BELTON) — A pair of Belton Independent School District high school juniors earned an invitation to represent the central region for the 2025-26 Special Olympics Texas Regional Youth Leadership Council.

The two Lake Belton High School juniors were selected based on their leadership and the confidence others see in them, according to a news release.

Bailey Schorn and Johnny White were invited as a duo to represent the central region for the 2025-26 Special Olympics Texas Regional Youth Leadership Council, a group that unites Texas students who are passionate about advancing Unified Champion Schools initiatives, promoting inclusion and creating opportunities for students of all abilities to lead and succeed together, school officials announced.
