Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. From midnight tonight through Friday 9pm.
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor-drainage and urban areas. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may become flooded. Rainfall totals of 2 to 3 inches, with isolated higher amounts up to 4 inches.

(ROCKDALE) Accident 5400 block of US77, DPS and Rockdale emergency vehicles, Police and EMS responded to a 2 vehicle accident involving an 18 wheeler struck Rockdale Bus #38 in Minerva yesterday around 4:30pm. Students as a precaution, were evaluated by EMS on scene before release and boarding Bus #32 before continuing on their route. Families of student on the bus were contacted by District personnel. The crash investigation is currently active and open.

(LEXINGTON) Yesterday Dismissal will be delayed for a few minutes at all LISD campuses while first responders check on a report that was called in. Student are sheltered in classrooms at this time and are not being released until the all-clear is given.
LPD received an anonymous report that a student may have a weapon at school. Police are searched room to room. LMS and LHS are locked down and no campuses was dismissed until police give the all-clear.
Nothing threatening was found, all LISD buses were running approximately 45 minutes late. The Band Concert and LES Open House were cancelled.
