Memorial Day Ceremony

(CAMERON) It’s the annual Memorial Day Ceremony on the Milam County Courthouse Square 10am, Monday in downtown Cameron. The members of American Legion invite you to join your county’s Veterans as they commemorate America’s military men and women who died in combat. This moving tribute will be presented at the Milam County Veterans Memorial located at the northeast corner of the courthouse lawn.
(CAMERON) The Milam County Historical Museum will host a “Visit With Our Veterans” social on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2025. This event will take place from 11am to 1pm in the Milam County Historical Museum located at 112 West 1st Street in downtown Cameron. The Museum will feature its newest display entitled “Weapons of War” a collection on loan from LTC Dwight Jekel, US Army Retired. “Visit With Our Veterans” will take place immediately following the annual Memorial Day Ceremony on the Milam County Courthouse Square. The public is invited, and all veterans are welcome to participate in the visiting and storytelling. Coffee, tea, and light refreshments will be served.
