VRAZEL POLKA SHOW, 70 year show comes to an end, Alfred Vrazel has announced Sunday the he is retiring. His last show will be December 28, 2025. The Vrazel Czech Polka Show the iconic radio program hosted by Alfred Vrazel, believed to be the nation’s longest-running weekly polka show, airing Sundays on KMIL Radio in Cameron, Texas from 12-2:30 PM, featuring traditional Czech polka music, bands, and dancers, celebrating Texas Czech heritage for decades.

US Bridge closure over Sandy Creek scheduled for December 11

MILAM COUNTY – US 77 will be temporarily closed overnight at the bridge over Sandy Creek on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, weather permitting. This closure affects the stretch of US 77 between Cameron and Rockdale.

The closure will begin at 8 p.m. and the roadway will reopen the following morning. The closure is necessary to allow crews to perform maintenance under the bridge. Drivers should plan alternate routes during the closure.

(LORENA) For the first time, Locals Love Us – Waco is hosting A Very Waco Christmas. This is a community celebration and a way to give back to local businesses. The event is on Monday, December 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. at 1900 Spring Valley Road in Lorena. There will be free photos with Santa, activities for the kids, local vendor shopping, concessions, and giveaways.
