PRESIDENTS DAY  MONDAY  February 16th Federal holiday,  majority of schools will be closed in observance of the commemoration.  Additionally, most financial institutions and government agencies, including courts, government buildings, and the USPS, are also closed on Presidents Day, which means there won’t be mail delivery on Monday or trading at U.S Stock Markets.

(MILAM)   The Milam Appraisal District will be closed Monday, February 16th in observance of President’s Day. We will resume regular business on Tuesday, February 17th
(MILAM)  Milam County Tax office closed in Cameron and Rockdale from Today through Wednesday 18th February.  The Milam County Tax Assessor/Collector has resigned.

(MILAM)  Milam County Commissioners Court will have a special Meeting will be Friday 8am at the Milam County Courthouse.

(BELL)  BURN BAN  Bell County has issued a Burn Ban which begins at 8pm, LAST NIGHT Tuesday, 2/10/26.

(BURLESON)  BURN BAN Burleson County has been places under  Monday  12:00pm 2/9/2026

(MILAM)   BURN BAN IS IN EFFECT  2/5/2025  effective 5:00 p.m. (1700) Thursday afternoon, Milam County is officially under a countywide burn ban until further notice.

Also- Robertson, Leon, Limestone, Hill, Burnett and Coryell Counties

(ROCKDALE)  Rockdale Police Department weekly report Officers responded to 427 calls for service 97  were 911 and 12 calls for the fire department, 6 for Milano Fire Department, 5 for Rockdale, 1 for Gause. No accidents reported this week.
