Cameron Turns Out to Pray for America |
(CAMERON) Young
and old alike, attended a candlelight vigil in Cameron Thursday, to pray
for our country, rescue workers, and those who lost loved ones, as a
result of the terrorist attack in New York City and Washington D.C.
More than 250 people participated in the vigil Thursday night at Cameron's
City Park. The program included prayers and patriotic
songs.
Vigils were held across the nation Thursday night. President George W. Bush has declared today (Friday, September 14th) as National Day of Prayer in America. Churches kept their doors open throughout the day as President Bush asked Americans to find a synagogue during lunch hours and pray for our nation, the rescue efforts, and families who lost loved ones in the attacks. Below are pictures of those who attended and participated in Cameron's Prayer Vigil. |
