Former Cameron Resident Killed in Accident

(Morganton)  Allen Fox, 42 of Morganton, NC was killed last Friday evening when his vehicle drifted in to on-coming traffic and struck another vehicle head-on.  The accident happened near his home on North Carolina Highway 181.  Fox attended Yoe High School in Cameron in the 1970's, however moved his senior year and graduated from Freedom High School in North Carolina.  Fox was a long standing participant in mission building teams from Oak Hill United Methodist Church.  He was a Sigma Blackbelt engineer for Dana Corporation, and an avid motorcyclist.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Anita McNeilly Fox; his daughter Katy Marie Fox, 18; and his son Jay Tyler Fox, age 16; (all pictured above).  He is also survived by his parents Iris and Eugene Fox of Morganton;  by a brother Larry Wendell Fox, and a sister Kathy Fox Greene, all of Morganton.
