Facade Removed

(CAMERON)  Ornate metal pieces were removed from the face of the circa-1891 Green Building this week, in preparation for demolition starting on Monday.  Pieces removed have been catalogued and will be restored and re-installed after the building is reconstructed.  EBCO of Cameron began dismantling the facade earlier this week.  (see story)  The building will become the new Cameron City Hall when complete.  

     Cameron native and owner of the Houston Astros, Drayton McLane Jr., and his family, are paying to have the building restored to become the new Cameron City Hall.
