November 7 The Christian Sisters of Seaton Brethren Church are hosting a bake sale and quilt show on Saturday, November 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church, located at 12561 State Highway 53, Temple (Seaton community). Some of the items featured in the sale will be kolaches, cakes, pies, cookies and bread, as well as craft items and home made canned goods. Sandwiches and home made soup will be available to purchase for lunch. Quilts will be on display in the sanctuary. A hand-made quilt, a $75 gift card from Wal-Mart, and a $50 gift card from Wal-Mart will be given away for a donation of $1.00 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5.00. The proceeds from the fund-raiser benefit the many projects the Sisters’ support. The sale is open to the public with free admission. November 7 “The Grand Ole Gospel Sing,” composed of over 40 singers and musicians will present a night of toe-tapping, foot-stomping, hand-clapping and voice-raising gospel music at First Baptist Church in Cameron on Saturday night, November 7th, at 6:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend “The Grand Ole Gospel Sing.” There is no admission charge for the two-hour concert and there will be NO love offering taken. We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy a great evening of singing. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the Praise Band, Gone Fishin’, presenting a 20 minute mini- concert before the main program begins. Come early and get a good seat.
