(BARTLETT) Work on the Elevated Storage Tank  in Bartlett  will continue for approximately a month. There may be instances customers may experience interruptions, for information call City Hall 254-527-3219.


(THORNDALE) Has issued a Boil Water Notice until Further notice!   City Wide Monday - April 29, 2024
Due to a loss of pressure in the water distribution system caused by a mechanical issue  ALL City of Thorndale water customers to boil their water prior to consumption...Until Further notice. 
(e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc.) Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these instructions.

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the City of Thorndale public water system officials will issue a notice to customers that rescinds the boil water notice in a manner similar to this notice.

(ROSEBUD)   04/30/24  BOIL WATER NOTICE This affects only Bell-Milam-Falls WSC customers in the Wilson area up to west of Rosebud. 

 Due to water outage in the Wilson area, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our public water system Bell-Milam-Falls WSC, PWS ID 0140007, to notify customers to boil their water prior to consumption. 

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the water system officials will notify you that the water is safe for consumption.  The rescind notice will be issued in the same manner as this Boil Water Notice.

(CAMERON) The Cameron Economic Development Corporation will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors Today May 1st at 3:30pm at the Cameron City Hall.
 A copy of the agenda was posted on the bulletin board outside City Hall, 100 South Houston Avenue.



(MILAM) Milam County Sheriff`s office had 2 new bookings: Tyreil Elias Emanuel Gilbert, Autin and Lorretta Harvey, Austin

There are 119 in the jail, one from Bell County


(GAUSE) Gause ISD will be holding a bond election on Saturday, May 4th.

(ROCKDALE)— Area youth are invited to open for business to sell their goods and services at Rockdale Community Market from 8am to 12n, Saturday, May 4, 2024, as part of the weekly community market

The Rockdale Community Market’s goal is to provide a venue with an established customer base that gives young business owners significant foot traffic from potential shoppers.

The Rockdale Community Marketis free to all vendors (young and old) every Saturday (rain or shine) from 8am to 12n, at the Cardinal Roofing & Exteriors and Home Consignment Depot property, 1613 W Cameron Avenue in Rockdale.

The Granger Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting our 45th Annual Granger Lakefest & Homecoming festival on May 10th & 11th, and we would love to have youl advertise for us on your polka show!  I have attached the promotional flyer that has the majority of the information on it.  The location of the event is along West Davilla St in downtown Granger.  Also not mentioned on the flyer is that there will be a beer garden both days as well.  Ed Kopecky and the Fun Time Czech Band will be playing live polka music from 11am-2pm on Saturday.  


(CAMERON) Bake sale at the VFW Post 2010 in Cameron on May 4, 2024 from 9am-sold out. The money will benifit the VFW building remodeling, and adding a dance floor.


(CAMERON) The El Camino Real Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, May 9, 2024.  The program will begin at 6 PM at the All Saints` Episcopal Church Meeting Room, 200 N. Travis, in Cameron, TX.  The speaker will be  Mike Mitchell. The public is invited to attend.
