ELDERLY TEMPLE WOMAN KILLED IN FM 485 ACCIDENT

(CAMERON) A 77-year-old Temple woman was killed Sunday when the car she was riding in went off F.M. 485 in Milam County.

Loveda Grisham was not wearing a seat belt when the car, driven by 59-year-old Constance Grisham, lost control. Loveda Grisham was airlifted to Scott & White Hospital in Temple, where she was pronounced dead.

Constance Grisham and 4-year-old Coby Brockett also were taken to the hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening.

The accident happened around 3:40 p.m. Sunday on FM 485 East at Walkers Creek.  Troopers Michael Nix, Broderick Simms and Mark Berry investigated.

Ms. Grisham is Milam County’s 14th traffic fatality of the year, and the 3rd one this month. 

A Bartlett man was killed in a motorcycle accident on FM 1331 on October 1st(See story)  And a Rockdale woman died in a freak accident on October 4th when her car rolled over her in the Brookshire Brothers parking lot in Rockdale.   (See story)
